The Front of the Church of Saint Valentine features a statue of Christ. Above Christ is a cross that spans the outside of our Rose Window. At the center is a dove which represents the Holy Spirt. At each point of the cross is a Lion, an Ox, a Boy and and Eagle representing the four Gospel writers, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Below the statue of Jesus is a the Lamb of God, representing Jesus, with two angles worshiping Him on both sides. The XP represents the Greek letters Chi Rho, which are the first two letters in the title 'Christ' in Greek (Χ Ρ Ι Σ Τ Ο Σ = Ch R I S T OS, which means anointed. It is also the Greek translation of the Hebrew word Messiah)
