Saint Francis de Sales - January 24
Saint Francis de Sales studied to be a lawyer the later enter to the seminary to become a priest. In 1602 Sales was consecrated Bishop of Geneva. He was also a spiritual writer who attracted many to the faith by his gentle and calm demeanor. Two of his notable works are "the Introduction to the Devout Life" and "the Treatise on the Love of God". He was later made a Doctor of the Church.
